TASS InfoWerk is an international information collection and dissemination organization. Our origin is the all-encompassing TASS newsbureau organization of the former Soviet Union.

TASS consisted of an immense network of reporters, information collectors and informers. They had been taught to work in disciplined and structured ways. They were also used to gather information in not so obvious ways, ranging from the "social engin eering" techniques now used by legendary hackers to under-cover operations, James Bond style. The best TASS journalists had the (secret) rank of colonel in KGB and were positioned around the world, not just inside the empire.

The fall of Soviet Union turned society upside down. Nuclear scientists turned taxi drivers and mathematics teachers turned peddlers. Many Soviet citizens mourned this enormous waste of human resources. So did we.

Thanks to investors from Russia and Northern Europe (Sweden, Germany, the Baltic states, Poland, Czech republic) TASS InfoWerk was created.
